Soo Line Railroad Company
Lake States Transportation Division Timetable #1,
Effective 3:01AM Sunday, April 5, 1987
Lake States was created in 1987 as a sort of “in-house regional” to operate much of the former Wisconsin Central and Soo Line trackage in Wisconsin, whose traffic load was lightened after the Milwaukee Road merger took most of the Chicago-Twin Cities traffic off the former Soo lines and on to former Milwaukee Road lines. Later in 1987 it was sold to the new Wisconsin Central Limited, and today is operated by Canadian National.
