This timetable represents the Soo Line in the 1950s, during the height of summer, when The Mountaineer, the luxury train between st. Paul and Vancouver in conjunction with Canadian Pacific, was in operation. While not considered a "major" passenger carrier, the Soo Line still operated a number of trains at this date.
