CP 429 usually hits the Paynesville Sub in the late afternoon or early evening hours.  On July 25, 1998, 429 passed over the Mississippi River at 7:08 P.M., on its' way towards Portal.  Trailing the 6024 were CP SD40-2s 5548 and 762 (the latter ex-Soo), along with the regular mix of autos and pigs.
