Diesel Locomotives, 1986-1990

Following the Milwaukee Road merger, Soo units began to venture off-property more often in run-through service and transfer operations. Hence, it also became more likely that one would find foreign-road locomotives on the Soo repaying horsepower hours. That may or may not be the case here, as we see Soo Line SD40-2 763 and three units from Burlington Northern at Dayton's Bluff in St. Paul, MN on February 4, 1990.
