Railroad Depot Photos

The Soo Line no longer stops at Osceola, WI (except for occasional loads of gravel from a nearby pit in Dresser), but passenger trains still do. The depot here was purchased by the Minnesota Transportation Museum, restored, and now houses the Osceola and Saint Croix Valley Railway. Excursions from the depot here usually are led by their NP 328 steam locomotive, with others pinch-hitting as needed. On the day pictured here, Soo Line 2719 and Soo Line 1003 were on hand for a series of special excursions to Marine, MN and Dresser, WI.
